About Us

Bengal Tree Foundation is committed to creating a better future by nurturing nature and supporting underprivileged children. Through the Prakritir Pathshala project, we not only focus on tree plantation but also provide essential food items and basic educational materials to poor school students, improving their quality of life.

Prakritir Pathshala Project

Prakritir Pathshala is a humanitarian initiative by Bengal Tree Foundation aimed at creating a healthier and more educational environment for underprivileged children. Through this project, we:

  • Plant and Preserve Trees: Implement tree plantation programs in schools to promote a greener environment.

  • Provide Food Assistance: Supply nutritious meals to children suffering from malnutrition.

  • Distribute Educational Materials: Provide books, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential study materials to underprivileged students.

  • Promote Environmental Awareness: Educate children on the importance of protecting nature and planting trees.

Why Is This Project Important?

Many children in India lack access to proper education and healthcare due to poverty. Malnutrition hampers their physical and mental development. At the same time, climate change is disrupting the ecological balance. To address these challenges, we launched the Prakritir Pathshala initiative.

Our Activities

  1. School-Based Tree Plantation Programs: Planting fruit-bearing, medicinal, and shade-providing trees within school premises to create a sustainable environment.

  2. Nutritional Meal Distribution: Providing monthly healthy meals to schoolchildren to ensure their well-being.

  3. Environmental Education Workshops: Raising awareness among children about the significance of trees and environmental conservation.

  4. Essential Study Material Support: Helping underprivileged children continue their education by supplying necessary learning resources.

প্রকৃতির পাঠশালা প্রকল্পটি Bengal Tree Foundation-এর একটি মানবিক উদ্যোগ, যার প্রধান লক্ষ্য সমাজের পিছিয়ে পড়া শিশুদের জন্য একটি স্বাস্থ্যকর এবং শিক্ষামূলক পরিবেশ তৈরি করা। এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে আমরা:

  • গাছ লাগানো ও সংরক্ষণ: প্রতিটি স্কুলে পরিবেশবান্ধব উদ্যোগ হিসেবে গাছ লাগানোর ব্যবস্থা করি।

  • খাদ্য সহায়তা: অপুষ্টিতে ভোগা শিশুদের জন্য পুষ্টিকর খাবার সরবরাহ করি।

  • শিক্ষা উপকরণ বিতরণ: দরিদ্র শিশুদের জন্য বই, খাতা, পেন, পেন্সিলসহ অন্যান্য প্রয়োজনীয় শিক্ষা সামগ্রী প্রদান করি।

  • পরিবেশ সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি: শিশুদের মধ্যে পরিবেশ রক্ষা ও গাছ লাগানোর গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা গড়ে তুলি।

কেন এই প্রকল্প গুরুত্বপূর্ণ?

অনেক শিশু দারিদ্র্যের কারণে শিক্ষা ও স্বাস্থ্যসেবা থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছে। পর্যাপ্ত পুষ্টিকর খাদ্য না পাওয়ায় তাদের মানসিক ও শারীরিক বিকাশ ব্যাহত হয়। পাশাপাশি, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের কারণে প্রকৃতির ভারসাম্য নষ্ট হচ্ছে। এই দুই সমস্যার সমাধান করতেই প্রকৃতির পাঠশালা উদ্যোগটি নেওয়া হয়েছে।

  1. স্কুল পর্যায়ে বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি: স্কুল চত্বরে ফলজ, ঔষধি ও ছায়াদানকারী গাছ লাগানোর মাধ্যমে পরিবেশের ভারসাম্য রক্ষা করা।

  2. পুষ্টিকর খাবার বিতরণ: শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য per month একদিন স্বাস্থ্যকর খাবার বিতরণ করা।

  3. পরিবেশ শিক্ষা কর্মশালা: শিশুদের গাছ ও প্রকৃতির গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতন করা।

  4. প্রয়োজনীয় শিক্ষা উপকরণ প্রদান: দরিদ্র শিশুদের পড়াশোনার সুযোগ বৃদ্ধি করতে সাহায্য করা।

We want to start one school in every district (total 23) of west bengal

In many rural areas of West Bengal, children lack access to basic education, technology, and sports facilities, limiting their future opportunities. To bridge this gap, our NGO is committed to establishing advanced learning schools in every district of the state. These schools will focus on technology education, digital literacy, competitive sports training, and skill development, empowering rural children to excel in modern careers and international sports competitions.

By providing quality education, computer training, and Olympic-level sports coaching, we aim to uplift underprivileged communities, create job-ready youth, and nurture world-class athletes. This initiative will transform rural West Bengal, ensuring every child has the resources and opportunities to succeed in today’s competitive world.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের গ্রামীণ অঞ্চলের শিশুরা এখনও প্রযুক্তি, ক্রীড়া ও ডিজিটাল শিক্ষার সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত। একই সঙ্গে, পরিবেশগত সচেতনতা ও টেকসই উন্নয়নের জ্ঞান তাদের কাছে সীমিত। এই সমস্যা সমাধানে, আমাদের পরিবেশবাদী এনজিও রাজ্যের প্রতিটি জেলায় একটি আধুনিক স্কুল স্থাপনের পরিকল্পনা করছে।

এই স্কুলগুলি শিক্ষার্থীদের উন্নত প্রযুক্তি শিক্ষা, অলিম্পিক পর্যায়ের ক্রীড়া প্রশিক্ষণ, কম্পিউটার শিক্ষা ও টেকসই উন্নয়ন সম্পর্কে প্রশিক্ষণ দেবে। পাশাপাশি, গাছ লাগানোর অভ্যাস ও পরিবেশ রক্ষার গুরুত্ব শেখানো হবে, যাতে তারা ভবিষ্যতে প্রকৃতিকে রক্ষা করার অগ্রদূত হতে পারে।

৬. টেকসই উন্নয়ন ও বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি

🌳 গ্রীন স্কুল, গ্রীন ভবিষ্যৎ

  • “একজন ছাত্র, একটি গাছ” নীতি অনুসরণ করে প্রত্যেক শিক্ষার্থী একটি গাছ লাগাবে ও যত্ন নেবে।
  • প্রতি বছর ১০,০০০+ গাছ রোপণের লক্ষ্যমাত্রা।

♻️ পরিবেশ শিক্ষা ও হাতেকলমে প্রশিক্ষণ

  • বর্জ্য ব্যবস্থাপনা, কম্পোস্টিং ও জৈব চাষের প্রশিক্ষণ।
  • প্লাস্টিক মুক্ত ক্যাম্পাস তৈরি করা হবে।

🏡 গ্রামীণ এলাকায় পরিবেশ বান্ধব প্রকল্প

  • জৈব কৃষি ও সবুজ গ্রাম গঠনের প্রশিক্ষণ।
  • শহুরে কৃষি ও ছাদবাগানের প্রচার।

৭. বাস্তবায়ন কৌশল

🔹 পর্যায় ১: পরীক্ষামূলক প্রকল্প (৩-৫ জেলা)

  • প্রাথমিকভাবে কয়েকটি জেলায় মডেল স্কুল চালু করা হবে।
  • স্থানীয় প্রশাসন ও অন্যান্য NGO-র সহযোগিতা নেওয়া হবে।

🔹 পর্যায় ২: পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ২৩টি জেলায় সম্প্রসারণ

  • প্রতিটি জেলায় একটি করে প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র গড়ে তোলা হবে।

  • এনজিওটি অন্যান্য রাজ্য ও দেশে এই মডেল ছড়িয়ে দেবে।
