The foundation was initiated in 2023 by two passionate environmentalists, Ayan Sen and Rajkumar Dasgupta, who shared a vision of creating greener cities and villages through collective community efforts. In 2024, Bengal Tree Foundation was officially registered as a Trust NGO, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its journey towards environmental conservation.

Since its inception, Bengal Tree Foundation has been actively engaged in tree plantation drives, urban forest development, community awareness programs, and the nurturing of green spaces across various locations. Our flagship initiative, Mission Green Bengal, aims to plant thousands of trees across the state, reviving ecosystems and enhancing biodiversity.
